Polycarbonate mirror is the most impact-resistant substrate.  It has excellent strength along with unique heat and flame resistant properties.  It features the industry’s toughest protective back coating making it virtually scratch-resistant during shipment and fabrication.

Polycarbonate mirrored sheet is able to withstand the most demanding fabricating requirements, yet is light enough for handling ease.  Proven field durability makes it an ideal sheet for use in environments where security, surveillance, and safety are factors; such as schools, prisons, bars, institutions and casinos.  It is also well suited for toys, signage or other rugged applications.

FABBACK®

A grey paint backing on all our mirrored sheet products.  This backing is the most durable, toughest, scratch-resistant backing in the acrylic mirror industry.

Papermask

This material is supplied with papermask on both sides as additional protection over the Fabback® backing for ease of handling, fabrication and working with mirror sheets.

Armadillo (AR) Coating

Armadillo coating offers an abrasion, solvent and stain resistant coating on one or two sides.  Increases and enhances the versatility of the substrate. It is abrasion, stain and solvent-resistant improving durability and extending product life.  

Armadillo surface is ideal for any surface encountering frequent contact with human touch, impact, contact with food, solvents or other materials.  It has been field proven since 1980 to resist such materials as ketchup, mustard, shoe polish, chemical dyes, tincture of iodine, gasoline, bleach, acetone, methanol, sulphuric acid and many others.

Armadillo will not effect the fabrication tolerances or procedures you are familiar with when working with mirrored sheets.
